Kirsty currently combines working with the Monash University Academy of Performing Arts with the development of her company Artistic Merit.

She has significant experience in the arts including her role as the inaugural manager of the Esso BHP Billiton Wellington Entertainment Centre in Sale, where she was responsible for the development of strategy and programming that developed the reputation of the centre as a leading regional venue.

She was the founding co-artistic director of the Water Water Festival and was awarded an Asialink Arts Management Residency which she undertook in Indonesia in 2002. Kirsty has worked for Arts Victoria and The Arts Centre amongst others.

Prior to joining the board of Polyglot Puppet Theatre, she has held other board positions with Astra and Gippsland Regional Arts Sale. She is a fellow of the Gippsland Community Leadership Program.
