While completing a Bachelor of Arts in Performance studies at VUT in 1999, Justine realised her love for puppetry and created a solo roving performance called ‘Piccolo’s Dreaming’ for the 1999 Melbourne Fringe festival, and went on to perform as a street performer at festivals in Australia and Europe.
More recent puppeteering projects include, ‘Dispatch’ (Barking Spider Visual Theatre), Kid Fest (Melbourne Immigration Museum) ‘Minmi Grows up’ (Museum Victoria), ’The True Blue News’ TV pilot, ‘Waiting’ Melbourne Fringe ’08 and touring ‘Muckheap’ in Queensland for Polyglot Puppet Theatre '08.
Justine loves making puppets and props for both her own and other peoples shows and has been running puppet making workshops for children, at the Footscray Community Arts Centre holiday program.
Having just joined the cast for the Victorian tour of ‘Check Out!’ Justine just can’t stop grinning.

We Built This City at IPAY in Pittsburgh on Saturday 23 Jan was a brilliant success! Lots of people came including the media and we had a viewing gallery up the top which gave a brilliant bird's eye view of the city. THANK YOU to all our new American friends (both young and young at heart) who took such pride in building their wonderful creations. We salute you!
